Butter Beans Curry



Ingredients


Butter beans - 1 1/2 cups

Onion - 2

Tomato – 1

Ginger-garlic paste - 1 tsp

Turmeric powder - 1/2 tsp

Chilly powder - 1 tsp

Coriander powder - 1/2 tsp

Cumin seeds-1tsp

Oil - 3 tbsp

Water - 1/2 cup

Coriander leaves for garnishing

Salt to taste

Method

1.Boil the butter beans.

2.Heat the oil in a pan.Add cumin seed fry it for few minutes

3.Add the chopped onions and fry it until they turn light brown

4.Add ginger garlic paste and fry for 2-3mints

5.Add tomatos and fry it…Then add turmeric powder,chilly powder and coriander powder.Fry it until raw smell removes

6.Add the butter beans and some water and salt

7.Cook for about 5 mins till the gravy thickens.

8.Garnish with chopped coriander leaves.
